Learn how to function safely after a sprain or strain

Immediately following injury to a joint, many are familiar with the acronym ICE – Immobility, Cold (ice), and Elevation. However, gentle motion within guidelines and maintaining overall function are also appropriate. Linda can help you master crutches or a walker and instruct you in methods to work around your limitations, no matter what joint is affected. She can help control edema (swelling) and excess strain on affected muscles/tendons with taping and other soft tissue work and teach you what you need to know to best manage the injury. And once the acute phase is past, she can help you with an effective program to get you back to normal function as efficiently as possible.
